There is a great need in the Bankstown municipality for men's issues to be addressed. There are serious issues that men face every day as well as crises that may come only once in a life-time.

Mullabo is Darug Aboriginal word for all the men. Mullabo Men's Place is a safe environment where men can get the support and information they need to deal with whatever spin-ball life bowls their way.  If the up-to date information is not already there, the coordinator, Brian Woodhouse, will be able to obtain whatever resources are needed quickly and efficiently.
There is access to information on men's issues like:

  • Parenting
  • Dealing with Conflict
  • Communication Skills
  • Health Matters
  • Accessing Legal Help and Advice and Mental health

If you just want a secure and comfortable place to sit, read a newspaper, or just hang out for a while, Mullabo Men's Place is for you. Tea and coffee are available. The co-ordinator, Brian Woodhouse, will be a friendly and encouraging presence and he will point you to where you can get some answers if you have questions or just want to chat.

Mullabo Men's Place fills an important role in the local community. Men of all ages will be able to come in and find the support they need in a friendly, helpful place.
